Dota & CS Tournament - 90K Prize Money

Lums Presenting Dota and CounterStrike Tournament with cash money of almost 90,000 RS. The tournament will go on for 3 days and will be held in Lums facility.

There are some details that I will be posting soon.. for the time being here is what we got! Teams from all over Pakistan are invited and it is going to be huge. Registration for the tournament is Now Open!! Keeping in mind that there’s a CAP for tournament teams so register as soon as possible if you want to participate.

DOTA CAP: 20 teams

Schedule:

Friday, 28th of March ‘08 : Check-In 1800-2100
Opening Ceremony: 2130-2330
Pool I & II Matches: 0000 onwards

Saturday, 29th of March ‘08

Pool III & IV Matches: 0900-1700
Quarter Finals: 1800-2200

Sunday, 30th of March ‘08
Semi Finals: 1000-1400
Finals: 1500-1800

Closing Ceremony :1900-2000
Dinner & Entertainment: 2000 onwards

Rules, Prize Money & Entry Fee:

Entry Fee:
Entry for CounterStrike and Dota teams is 2500 RS while each team can bring as many substitutes but they will have to pay for that so basically it’s 500 RS per person.

Prize Money:

Total Prize money is 90,000 RS for both games. Team winning the tournaments will get 30,000 RS as first prize and 15,000 RS for runners up.

Dota Rules

Competition method: 5v5
Tournament structure: To be decided
Game version: 1.21
Map version: 6.48b or the latest stable version
Game mode: Extended league mode (-ap will be typed in game)

*Banned heroes: Storm Spirit, Templar Assassin, Sacred Warrior, Faerie Dragon, Dark Seer, Pit Lord, Undying, Geomancer

Match Length: 75mins max (Applies to group stage only)

*If the time limit is reached, the winner would be decided on the basis of points where a kill = 1 point, tower = 3 points, each barracks = 5 points.

CounterStrike Rules:

General
a) Game Definitions: Match - A game played with each team playing a half match as Counter-Terrorists and the other half as Terrorists. Half - One 15 round map session. Two halves equal a Match. Round - One 1:45 minute cycle on a map.

b) The following maps may be used for all matches. Each Tournament Round will use one map. Maps will cycle with Tournament Rounds.
