This game has been developed by Perpetual Entertainment and it was on hand at E3 2005. Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising looks to be very close to any traditional MMO games in several senses. It allows players to create a unique avatar that is based on one of the several classes and quest through a large-scale.

Well, there are some very specific qualities of the game which stand out about it. This includes its decidedly strategy-focused fight model and also its god devotion system.

When gamers first boot up this game then they will begin by creating their character. It features detailed facial editing system and it lets gamers alter everything from eye design to facial symmetry.

When gamers get an appearance done then they can choose a character class. There are 6 class in the game, which includes rogue, warrior, scout, priest, healer, and gladiator.

The game takes place loosely around 300 BC. It has been spread across several different territories, not limited to Rome only. One may also find Mount Olympus and Hades in the game. This game is based heavily within Roman mythology.

This game begins with gamers character that enters the Battlespire. It is a testing facility for the Emperor’s personal Battlemage guards. It is to be discovered that it has been overrun by malevolent forces.

A traitor who is working with the archvillain from Arena named Jagar Tharn, has allowed the legions of the Daedra Lord, Mehrunes Dagon, to enter this Battlespire and also slaughter the resident Battlemages. Daggerfall-nostalgic gamers in a hope for another opportunity to explore the vast wilderness of Tamriel, interacts with guilds and even participate in a variety of role-playing lifestyles.

The game has a much more limited scope. It is being a big dungeon crawl along the lines of the Ultima Underworld games from the early 1990s.

After you read this preview, don’t expect to hear much more about Free Realms on the pages of GameSpot. Sony Online Entertainment is doing a lot of things differently with its upcoming freely distributed and free-to-play massively multiplayer online game. For starters, SOE plans to market the game solely through viral methods; it will probably do things like seed message boards and allow word of mouth to spread. So we’re not expecting to even see the game again before it releases on the Internet, much less obtain any screenshots or videos to show you.

Luckily, we’re glad to write about it anyway, because Free Realms sounds rather interesting. The game is being created primarily for the PC, with a PlayStation 3 version planned as well. It’s also being created so that people with computers of all shapes and sizes will be able to run it. That means you shouldn’t expect the game to push any graphical boundaries like most retail MMO games do. But on the flipside, Free Realms will purportedly be quite compact because you’ll be able to download the game client, as well as get up and running within the gameworld itself, in a matter of moments. Rather than installing the entire game to your hard drive, you’ll also be able to download new components piecemeal as you move around the gameworld.

What we got to see of the game itself looked fairly promising. SOE says it’s targeting both male and female gamers from a wider range of ages than it has with past MMO games. To that end, the company is crafting a lighthearted, whimsical sort of world in which your adventuring will take place. No details were revealed about the lore behind the gameworld, but it looked like a cartoonish, vaguely medieval setting with some real-world elements, such as what appeared to be a Halloween celebration. Again, this isn’t the most graphically complex game you’ve ever seen, but it seems to be taking the World of Warcraft track, with colorful and varied art design making up for any technical shortcomings.

Shadowflare is one of the famous role playing games. It is a hack-and-slash action RPG. This game is some what similar to Blizzard’s original Diablo from 1996. Gamers can play this game either as female or male character and they have to hack their way through hordes of monsters to complete simple quests like defeating a certain monster or retrieving a specific item.

The combat in the game consists of simply left-clicking repeatedly on the enemies as we had seen in the original Diablo. But, here the game does not allow gamers to click and hold their mouse button on a specific enemy as there was in Diablo II. It even does not have anything like auto-attack feature from Gas Powered Games’ Dungeon Siege. Hence, in the game one should be prepared to do plenty of clicking.

Similar to Diablo, it has a paper-doll equipment system and an inventory of limited size.

The best feature of Wizardry Gold is that it have an excellent plot. The plot has been developed by author D. W. Bradley for the original Wizardry VII. It has an intricate world where magical Tolkienesque characters and Buck Rogers-style technology exist parallel.

The unique blend of science and fantasy in the game is a refreshing change from traditional role playing game fare. It has helped to make the game one of the most memorable role playing games ever. With multiple paths to completion the game also has exceptional replay value.

The plot was mercifully left intact and everything else has been changed for the Gold edition. The sound of Wizardry Gold has been enhanced with new digitized effects and speech.

One more thing, each time your party is attacked, the game pauses automatically for up to 10 seconds while the creature graphics are loaded. After several hours of play, these pauses become extremely annoying (gamers can alleviate this problem by choosing the “full install”–at the cost of 510 megs of free drive space.)

Sacred is a good looking and a good action role-playing game, which offers couple of interesting gameplay innovations. It provides an open-ended gaming world for exploring decent cooperative and also a good competitive multiplayer option. It also offers a good mix of goal-oriented questing and fast-paced battles. The fight system of the game is finicky and unrewarding that is a significant problem for what’s fundamentally a hack-and-slash role playing games.

It may be very artificial to describe this game without at least a cursory comparison to the Diablo games because it was clearly heavily inspired by that series. In Diablo games, each of the 6 character types in Sacred has a predetermined gender and also they have a distinct selection of skills that gamers can choose to develop.

Most of the enemies only take a few mouse clicks to dispatch, but gamers will be able to encounter hundreds of foes, including types that will spawn more of their kin if gamers do not take them out.
The monsters of the game are all classic fantasy stereotypes like undead, dragons, and ogres. Gamers can use the Alt key to highlight and even immediately locate the seemingly endless bounties of loot they hoard.

BioWare, the Canadian studio, first made a name for itself with PC RPG games, which let gamers create parties of stout warriors and wizards to battle with evil goblins and dragons. From that time onwards, it has expanded its horizons beyond the PC and they have come to the studio released the martial-arts-themed Jade Empire. This is the second game for the Xbox console.

Jade Empire was a new project of the Canadian studio, which went off in an entirely different direction than their traditional games where heated battles were usually decided by role-playing hack-and-slash systems. The new game of Bio Ware is an action RPG that let gamers roam the countryside as a fledgling martial art player by making use of various combination attacks and different fighting styles to pummel bandits, warlords, and also the otherworldly demons. At present the game is headed for the PC titles as Jade Empire: Special Edition.

Diarmid Clarke, project director of BioWare, suggested that this new version of the Jade Empire will add “three layers of development,” which are technical upgrades that take advantage of modern PCs, additional game content, and expanded gameplay in those areas as smarter enemies and more-balanced fight.

Role playing game Atriarch is an extremely unusual game. It is of World Fusion’s. it is a massively multiplayer RPG, but it has a number of unorthodox features as well such as it happens on a completely alien planet that is populated by strange alien creatures. You get no humans there or elves or dwarves in the world of Atriarch. Gamers has to create their character from one of five alien races. Each of the races has its own unique look, its own strengths and weaknesses, and also at the same time its own culture.

The role playing game Atriarch takes place on the alien world of Atriana. Atriana is an enormous planet that is circled by 3 moons, which regularly change the planet’s climate, depending on their location within their respective orbits. In the game a Torpor Storm sweeps the land on each full cycle of the planet. The storm also induces a regenerative hibernation in all creatures. Yes, to both the creatures, one that is controlled by players and the other those that aren’t.

Atriana itself teems with life. Atriana is inhabited not only by player races but it is also inhabited by many other species of non-player creatures, which are collectively referred to as “natives.”

Gamers will be able to create a player character from the 5 distinctive races. They are Cavolon, the Eshlar, the Tyrusin, the Lokai, and the Unarra and none of the races on this alien planet is human; however, four of them are roughly humanoid. The one race that isn’t is the Cavolon, a tall, gangly race of creatures that slither about on tentacles and can also transport themselves by means of a “tentacle tongue” – an exceptionally long appendage they can use both to swing from branches and to attack their enemies. They can also use four of their appendages to wield weapons in combat, though the Cavolon tend to keep to themselves in their swampy habitats, preferring careful study of Atriana’s plant life over combat and interaction with the planet’s other races.

Most of the RPG games feature swords and sorcery as part and parcel of the games on the market. But in fact, this is not the case with this game, named Auto Assault. This is an online role-playing game from NCsoft and developer NetDevil.

Instead of dealing with grumpy dwarves, haughty elves, and of course with the cheeky peasants, Auto Assault is set in a post-apocalyptic world. Here, 3 different races battle it out for supremacy. Yes, not with swords here, but with highly customized fighting vehicles. Auto Assault is a part Road Warrior, part Twisted Metal: Black, and all online RPG.

If one has played any online RPGs before, then the character creation system will without any doubt be familiar. The first thing to do in the game is to select from the 3 races in the game (human, mutant, and biomek), and then select a character class.

After doing this, gamers can customize the character’s appearance by selecting different body types, hairstyles, and more.

The bounty hunter in the game is a sort of a scout-type class for the humans, as they are focused on stealth and hit-and-run techniques.
